LANE - TYPE New Single Release

CLIENT: LANE, Musician

SERVICES: Stop Motion Animation + Creative Direction + Photography.

DESCRIPTION: What started as just a photoshoot for her latest single, TYPE, turned into a full stop motion animation and Fan Reach Out campaign. A limited number of 12 boxes were sent out to lucky fans of LANE that included a USB copy of the track, signed doll parts used in the photoshoot, and a hand written “Thank You” note addressing each fan.

SERVICES: Documentary Photography

DESCRIPTION: Donatella is an artist and tattooist at Mark Mahoney’s, Shamrock Social Club in Hollywood, CA. I was brought in to document a substantial moment for her as she was going to receive a tattoo by fellow artist and Shamrock legend, Freddy Negrete. The whole session was captured using a Leica M6 and two rolls of 35mm film, one in Cinestill 800Tungsten & one in Kodak 400TX B&W.

I also shot and edited a short behind the scenes video in between film changes.
